Our History-Goldman Philanthropic Partnerships

As a way to accelerate the discovery of new treatments for catastrophic diseases, George and Judy Goldman founded Goldman Philanthropic Partners (GPP) a family foundation. Bringing business rigor to medical research, GPP developed a model for partnerships between investor-donors, researchers, and research institutions to fund efforts most likely to lead to medical breakthroughs. These partnerships engage all three parties from initial discussions through quarterly progress reports and sharing research findings and applications. Partnership for Cures is a public charity established to strengthen and expand the work GPP started of bringing hope by supporting new directions in medical research.
